INKTOBER DAY 15! Another simpler concept piece for Save The Songbirds today. Here is Dixon the robin in a very action-y pose with a gun I based on the guns from Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. This pose is actually drawn from a real photo of a robin (minus the gun of course haha!), and I think I need to do more bird drawings from photos. I have in the past, but less recently. I’m thinking to try and de-violence the guns, I might have them be loaded with ‘fangs’ instead of bullets, just so they are less realistic, but we’ll see!
