Daft Character #26! Giving a character no mouth seems to give them a certain amount of innocence for some reason. His name is simply ‘The Fly Catcher’.

buildings-autumn-2016

I thought I would bunch together all the buildings I have drawn since I started blogging daily on to one image. It’s nice to see lots of different designs all together. Though I enjoyed drawing these I wanted a change, which is why now on Tuesdays I draw Objects instead. After that I plan to do Vehicles, but I might get back to Buildings at some point.

objects-3

This week’s Object is a computer. I drew two new-ish ones, a laptop and a very old computer. I still find myself naturally drawing older computers I think because they are easier to draw from behind, having more form than the thinner newer ones.

tribute-12

This week’s Tribute is Danger Mouse created by Mark Hall and Brian Cosgrove. Danger Mouse was a British cartoon series that was broadcast in the 1980’s, but as a child in the 90’s and 00’s I still managed to discover it and celebrate it’s silliness. Now in 2016, a new series has been created for the children of today to discover, and for me to discover all over again! If you ever want to get a taste of the mayhem of this series watch the episode ‘Custard’, as it’s probably the best they made!

objects-2

This week’s object is a table, and I have drawn four different kinds. I find it hard not to make the lines a bit wibbly-wobbly, but that’s something I’m working on as well.
